Technical data:
Efficiency: 200 to 300 g/m²
Dilution: alcohol 99% or our SOLVENTE H
Storage and shelf life: 6 months
Hardening: 2-3 days at 23°C (73.4°F)
Mix ratio: 1 part, in volume, of component “A”, 1 part, in volume, of component “B”
Minimum application temperature: see note ** below
Ready for traffic: 12-24 hours at 23°C (73.4°F)
Mix life: see note * below
Application: brush or squeegee
Mixing Instruction:
* the compound obtained by mixing the two components (A+B) has a service life inversely proportional to the environment temperature and to the quantity of the mix, as specified in the following table:
1 litre A+B mix - temperature: +10°C (50°F) - service life: about 1½ hours
1 litre A+B mix - temperature: +25°C (77°F) - service life: about 40 minutes
5 litres A+B mix - temperature: +10°C (50°F) - service life: about 45 minutes
5 litres A+B mix - temperature: +25°C (77°F) - service life: about 20 minutes
** Should the environment temperature be below +10°C (50°F) ACCELLERANTE HK must be added in a ratio of 2-3% of the whole amount, to avoid a too slow setting, which would compromise the final work.
Setting Instruction:
Carefully mix 1 part in volume of component A with 1 part in volume of component B and apply the so obtained compound as quick as possible. If used to waterproof: one or two coats can be applied. When laying the first coat, this must be thinned with our SOLVENTE H or with alcohol in a ratio of 20-30 parts to help penetration in the substrata. If a second coat is needed the compound must be used neat (not thinned) applying it in a layer of such a thickness as to obtain a very thin, continuous and flexible film.
If used to consolidate: Always dilute it with our SOLVENTE H or alcohol in a ratio of 40-50 parts. If used as mortar binder: Mix one part of PRIMER EP 42 with 5-6 parts of siliceous sand and, more or less, 2 parts of alcohol. This product can also be used as a binder for dusting sand on smooth surfaces, before using cement levellers, following traditional methods.
N.B. Install floors, with two-components adhesives, after 48 hours and within 7-8 days.
Cleaning:
It can be cleaned with alcohol while still wet and mechanically once dry.

Open time: max. 30 minutes (*)
Waiting time before polishing: min. 15 days (*)
Ready for traffic: min. 24 h. (*)
(*) values fixed in an environment settled at the following conditions: temperature of 23°C (73.4°F), relative humidity 50%, on concrete foundation.
N.B.: if a darker colour is needed a specific colouring paste is available.
Setting Instruction:
Wear rubber gloves and avoid skin contact during mixing, application and cleaning. Apply the adhesive only on the rough floor using a n. 4 trowel for lamellate and lamparquet type, and n. 5 trowel for listels type. Depending on the foundation surface, the needed quantity will be approximately from 600 to 800 g/m². Lay the parquet while the adhesive is wet, exerting a good pressure in order to ensure the back of the wood to get thoroughly dump. Avoid it forming a film.
Do not lay the parquet against the walls: it is very important lo leave at least 1 cm. free along the perimeter of the floor and around columns or protruding wall sections. Do not cover any expansion joint with adhesive.
Check the wood’s moisture and ascertain that it is as advised by the manufacturer (9+/-2%). Remember that too dry woods could, in time, absorb humidity from the environment and therefore swell up; whereas too wet woods could, in time, get dry and create unwonted cracking.
Surface preparation:
When laying wooden floorings it is very important to prepare the rough floor with extreme accuracy particularly for what humidity and physical state are concerned.
1) Humidity: in the whole thickness of the rough floor it must be less than 2%. Make sure that there is no possibility of humidity re-ascending from subsoil by priming (in case the work is at a ground floor). Check, as well, that the cement mix is free from hygroscopic inert substances such as pumice, clay, vermiculite which might retain water in the mixture and slowly let it out later on. If such case arouses, use only two-components adhesives.
2) Physical state:
Both new and old concrete rough floors must be clean, of compact texture and well levelled. On too absorbent substrata, or in order to consolidate loose dusting foundations, a prior treatment with PRIMER AC is needed. After our PRIMER AC has been applied, any unevenness should be removed using our HEKOPLANER AR SPECIAL, which has a high grade of mechanical resistance. Please remember that if the leveller are not perfectly fixed, unwanted disjunction may occur. Each case should be evaluated separately.
Cleaning:
Parquet, tools and clothes can be cleaned with water while the adhesive is still fresh. Once hardened it can been removed with alcohol.
Care and shelf life:
It must be kept both from frost and hot temperature. Its shelf life is of al least 12 months if stored in the original container at a temperature above 5°C (41°F) and far from heat sources.
Packaging:
